After Digital Trail Detective

Try a short conversation

  1. “What else might a photo show besides the thing we wanted to share?”
  2. “What can we do when a friend says no to sharing their picture?”
  3. “Who could you ask if a message feels uncomfortable?”

Listen without blame. Explain that help is available even after a mistake or an unwanted share. Do not ask the child to enter real names, addresses or private messages into the site.

Extend Shapes Around Us offline

Find one safe household object for each shape. Compare a square and a rectangle: which sides look equal? Use the two-page A4 worksheet for tracing and matching. A child can point, name or draw an answer instead of typing.
