How to play

Field guide Tap any animal to open its fact card, then turn it over for fun facts. Use the chips to find animals by home or group.
Habitat sort Pick an animal, then tap or drag it to its home. Each level adds a new home.
Explorer quiz Ten picture questions per level. A wrong tap only brings a clue.
Sticker book Every right answer sticks that animal into your book. How many of the fifty can you find?

Every fact was written for young children and checked against standard references. Where nature is not so simple, the cards say so (for example, some bats eat insects and others eat fruit), and the quiz never asks about those cases.
With four- and five-year-olds, stay in the field guide and the first sort level: name the animal, say where it lives, and talk about what it would need there.
The quiz levels move from looking (fur or feathers?) to sorting ideas (mammal, reptile, plant eater). Surprises like the whale being a mammal are great moments to ask “How do you know?”
Print a blank fact card to research one more animal together from a book, a zoo or the garden, or a colouring sheet for a quiet moment.
