Electric circuit

Connect the battery, the switch, the bulb and the wires. The bulb lights only when electricity has a closed path. Why?

When does the bulb light up?

Start at the battery's plus end. Each wire joins two points. Do not forget to close the switch.

Tap one point, then another, to join them with a wire.

How to play

  1. Join. Tap two points in turn. A wire is drawn between them.
  2. Close the switch. Tap the switch. Electricity flows only when the switch is closed.
  3. See the result. Look at whether the bulb lights, and why.
