How to play and about the game
How to play
- Collect every acorn sack, then reach the gate on the top floor. Each sack is worth 100 points.
- Stand beside a leaf hatch and open it. A badger that enters an open hatch rests for a while, and you cannot cross an open hatch yourself.
- A collision costs one life and up to 75 points. The sacks you carry stay with you. Delivery pays 500, 150 for each life left and a time bonus.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD walk and climb. Z and X open the left and right hatches, Space the hatch in front, and P pauses. On a phone, use the walking cross and the hatch buttons under the stage.
About this game
Climb the wooden shelves of a forest station. Collect every acorn sack, open leaf hatches to slow the sleepwalking badgers, and reach the gate on the top floor before your three lives run out. Fifteen stages add shelves and badgers; endless mode goes on from there.

Strategy and tips
Four steps from your first game of Acorn Express to expert play.
- First game
Read the dotted line before each step. It shows where a badger goes next, so stay off the cell it is heading for.
- Getting better
Open a hatch just before a badger reaches it. A badger that rests there earns 60 points the first time, and the hatch closes when the badger leaves.
- Confident
Take the sacks on your way to the gate. The gate stays shut until the last sack is aboard, and the time bonus shrinks, so plan the route before you move.
- Expert
A tracker follows you to the shortest route, so it is the one to watch. A patrol stays on its shelf and a porter circles the shelf ends.
Common mistake Walking straight into a badger's dotted path. A collision costs a life and 75 points, and sends you back to the start.
