How to play and about the game

How to play

  1. Press Space to arm the fence, then walk into the meadow. Walking back reels in the last piece.
  2. Close the fence on safe ground. Every meadow cell on the side without a bee becomes a garden, and the bees keep their side.
  3. Close fences one after another for a chain bonus. A close pass to a bee earns more, and careful fences double the area points.

Controls

Arrow keys or WASD move. Space arms the fence and reach safe ground to close it, X switches quick and careful, and P pauses. On a phone, use the buttons under the meadow.

About this game

Draw a fence from safe ground into the wild meadow and close it back on safe ground. The side that holds no bee turns into a flower garden. Touch a bee with an open fence and you lose an attempt. Cover three quarters of the meadow to clear the stage.

Strategy and tips

Four steps from your first game of Meadow Fence to expert play.

  1. First game

Draw your first fence straight down the middle. The side without a bee becomes your garden, and the bee's side stays wild, so pick the cut before you start walking.

  2. Getting better

Watch a bee for a few seconds before you draw. Bees move straight and bounce off stones and borders, so their route is predictable.

  3. Confident

Careful fences move more slowly but double the area points, and a close pass to a bee adds a bonus. Try them once a meadow feels calm.

  4. Expert

Close fences one after another for a chain bonus: 50 points more each time, up to 200. Plan the next fence before you close this one.

Common mistake Drawing into a bee's path and hoping it misses. An open fence comes loose the moment a bee touches it, so check each bee's direction before you leave safe ground.
