How to play and about the game
How to play
- Blue starts at the bottom and wants the top edge; coral starts at the top and wants the bottom edge. Each side has ten walls.
- Move your pawn one cell straight. If the other pawn is in the way, jump over it; if a wall blocks the jump, step to its side.
- Place a wall in a gap between cells. It may not overlap or cross another wall, and it may never close the last route of either player.
- The first pawn to reach the far edge wins.
Controls
Click a pawn move, or switch to wall mode and pick a gap. Keyboard: arrow keys move between cells, Enter places.

Strategy and tips
Four steps from your first game of Wall Labyrinth to expert play.
- First game
Make your route short and theirs long. Each wall should cost your rival more steps than it costs you.
- Getting better
Wall the lane, not the pawn. A wall in front of the rival pawn is only stepped around; a wall across its shortest route costs it more.
- Confident
Keep a wall or two in hand. A late wall in a narrow lane can cost a rival several moves.
- Expert
Check the jump before you move. The rival pawn can be jumped straight over, or stepped around when a wall blocks the jump.
Common mistake Walling in your own pawn. A wall that lengthens your own route loses the race, so count both routes before you place it.
