Ritim's story
Ritim the octopus has eight arms, so she can hold eight paintbrushes at once! One grey morning she painted the sky yellow, the sea blue and the sand orange.
"Now the cove is smiling," she said, and she hung a sunshine painting in her gallery.

Ritim's story
Ritim started a band under the sea: the crab played the drum, the fish blew bubbles and she played the xylophone with all eight arms.
Everyone danced so happily that the notes floated up, and Ritim painted them for her gallery.

Ritim's story
The hermit crab needed a new shell, so Ritim drew him a hundred ideas: a castle, a rocket, a little house with a red roof.
He chose the little house, of course, and Ritim hung her favourite sketch in the gallery.

Ritim's story
A sea flower in Ritim's garden was too shy to sing. Ritim played her a gentle song, one note at a time, and the flower hummed along.
By the end they were singing together, and Ritim painted the flower in full bloom.

Mirror magic

Ritim's story
Ritim found a broken mirror on the seabed and saw something amazing: her drawing doubled, then doubled again. One wiggly line became a star, and the star became a snowflake.
She called her new art mirror magic and hung a kaleidoscope painting in the gallery.

Ritim's story
For the big cove concert, Ritim had to play the longest songs she knew, from memory. She practised every evening until the notes felt like old friends.
On the night of the concert the stars came out to listen, and Ritim painted them for the last frame in her gallery.
